It’s a free, online course for teachers who want to learn about Educational Technology. You will learn about a new category of tool every day for 30 days… that’s a total of 30 EdTech tools.

That’s why it’s called The EdTech30.
Me. 🙂

I’m Seth Dimbert (@MisterD) and I created the EdTech30 in 2014. I was inspired to do so by the generous sharing of resources and know-how in my PLN.
Nothing. Really.

The point is to learn new things and grow from the experience… I’m pretty sure I will get as much out of the course as you will!

Of course, TANSTAAFL, so you only get what you pay for: there is no certificate, ceremony or ice cream party at the end of the course. All you’ll walk away with the satisfaction of deciding to do something proactive in order to become a better teacher. And, now that I think of it, it will cost you time and effort… so I guess you’re right: it isn’t really free after all.
  • The course officially opened for enrollment on Monday, April 18, 2016.
  • Things begin for real when the first Challenge is opened on Wednesday, May 4, 2016.
  • The Challenges continue, on a one-per-day schedule, until Day 30, which is Friday, June 17, 2016. There is then a week-long wrap-up period so stragglers can hand in any missing work.
  • All assignments are due and the course ends on Friday, June 24, 2016.
